EEO Activities in FY 2017

To celebrate Native American Heritage Month, we held a ‘Pumpkin Celebration’ on Monday, Oct. 31st at 1:00pm in the conference room where we had pumpkin carving tools, patterns, and of course, pumpkins for anyone who’d like to try their hand at carving a pumpkin.

We watched the DVD ‘Dynamite and Dreams – the Making of Crazy Horse’ to celebrate Native American Heritage Month on Wed., Nov. 16th at 11:00 am in the conference room.

To celebrate Black History Month we watched half of the documentary entitled “Freedom Riders” on 02/07/2017 and the second half 02/08/2017. It is the story of people both black and white that together traveled by train and bus into the south in 1961 to challenge racially discriminating laws.
