NOTE:  Just before the Government shutdown, we identified a few problems with the SR26 data.  These have now been corrected.  If you downloaded the database before October 1, 2013 it will be necessary for you to download the new version to receive the revisions.

The Nutrient Data Laboratory (NDL) has the responsibility to develop USDA's National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference,  the foundation of most food and nutrition databases in the US, used in food policy, research and nutrition monitoring. Our database products are available to the public and scientific community. NDL is one of five units in the Beltsville Human Nutrition Research Center (BHNRC) of the Agricultural Research Service (ARS).
