The Real Property Office is responsible for matters related to space utilization, land management (revocable permits, easement deeds, master plans, and boundary surveys), historic preservation, and demolition/disposal at BARC, which is comprised of over 6,500 acres and approximately 600 active and non-active buildings and structures. This office also handles real property issues related to the US National Arboretum in Washington, D.C; the Plant Quarantine Station in Glenn Dale, Maryland; the Aroostook State Farm in Presque Isle, Maine; the Chapman Farm in Chapman, Maine; the Blueberry and Cranberry Research Center in Chatsworth, New Jersey; and the Nursery Crops Research Station in McMinnville, Tennessee.
