1) The 2011 Fusarium Genomics Workshop will be held in conjunction with the 26th Fungal Genetics Conference at Asilomar.

2) The Fusarium comparative genomes project, to sequence the genomes of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici and F. verticillioides, has been completed and data are available at the Fusarium group database.

3) The Nectria haematococca (Fusarium solani) genome project is complete. The assembly and annotation are available at the JGI website.

4) The Fusarium graminearum Affymetrix GeneChip is now available. To purchase the chip for your research, please contact Todd Finch (



Our Goals.

The Fusarium International Genomics Initiative was organized in March 2001 at the Fungal Genetics Conference at Asilomar, California. The goals of the initiative are to unite researchers from all areas of the world in order to promote research on Fusariumand to support its genome-wide analysis.
