Present Research Interests:  Microbial ecology of swine gastrointestinal tract, feces, and stored manure; development of methods to reduce production of odor and gaseous emissions from stored swine manure; analyses of antibiotic resistance in swine GI tract and stored manure and impact on human health and food safety.
