Benetria Banks is a physical science technician in the Bio-Oils Research unit working with Dr. Bryan R. Moser. She is from the St. Louis metro area and received a Bachelor of Art and a Master of Science in Chemistry from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. Before she came to Peoria to work at NCAUR in 2007, she held the positions of chemist at the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency-Organics Division in Springfield IL and Ameren Energy Generating, an electricity power plant in Meredosia IL.
