South Korean Rural Development Administration visit, Animal Parasitic Diseases and Coastal Plain Soil, Water, and Plant Conservation Research, August 2013
Dr. Hong Kil Moon, Rural Development Administration (RDA), South Korea and stationed in the ARS Office of International Research Programs (OIRP) as the RDA-ARS (RAVL) Coordinator, worked with OIRP to organize a visit of four researchers from RDA from August 25 to August 31, 2013. They met Dr. Joan K. Lunney at Animal Parasitic Diseases Laboratory, BARC, Beltsville, MD and Dr. Patrick G. Hunt and his colleagues at Coastal Plain Soil, Water and Plant Conservation Research, Florence, SC to discuss the development of RDA-ARS Virtual Laboratory (RAVL) collaborative research projects. The delegation was led by Dr. In Cheul Kim, Director general of National Institute of Animal Science, RDA.
