Responsibilities I conduct research in the general areas of conservation and characterization of vegetable crop biodiversity. I curate the U.S. germplasm collections (all or parts) of Concolvulaceae, Malvaceae, Cucurbitaceae and Solanaceae. These include collections of curcurbits, Ipomoea sp., luffa, okra, eggplant, gourds, chile peppers, and watermelon.
