Vertical view of soil particles being transported by flowing water in
a surface irrigated furrow on a calcareous silt loam soil. Also shown
is an example of an under-cutting event that occurs on the bottom of
the furrow which increases the sediment load of the flowing water. The
irrigation water was chemically similar to the IRR water in this study.
