Crop Sequence Calculator (Phase II)

Crop Sequence Calculator Version 3.1 (Phase II)

An interactive program for viewing crop sequencing information and calculating returns based on no-till field research conducted at the Northern Great Plains Research Laboratory Mandan, ND.

The content and data were provided by Drs. David Archer, Jon Hanson, John Hendrickson, Joe Krupinsky, Mark Liebig, Steve Merrill, and Don Tanaka (ARS, Mandan, ND) as well as Randy Anderson (ARS, Brookings, SD), Larry Charlet (ARS, Fargo, ND), Phillip Glogoza and Janet Knodel (NDSU, Fargo, ND), Ron Ries (Retired), and Sara Wright ( ARS, Beltsville, MD). Programming and interface were developed by Martin E. Miller and updated by John R. Engelman. Previous program versions were developed by Dr. Jeffrey Fehmi (Univ. of Arizona).

The information in this program is based on preliminary data through 2001, created under environmental conditions and soil types of Mandan, North Dakota. Long term precipitation averages less than 17 in (43 cm). The experiments which were conducted used no-till farming techniques. More crops and information may be added as data becomes available.
