WEPS - NRCS, TSP Configuration
WEPS NRCS 1.2.9 (2011-08-30)
WEPS – the Wind Erosion Prediction System, is a tool for predicting the effects of management (practices and cropping rotations) on the wind erosion potential for a selected field site. WEPS simulates daily wind erosion processes based on weather, management crop rotations and soil conditions. The NRCS configuration contains settings designed to support NRCS official programmatic use of WEPS. Interim database updates are not included in this configuration and should be obtained from your NRCS contact.
For more information about WEPS, see our related website.
Notes:
- This version of the WEPS user interface requires Java 1.6 and will not run properly under version 1.7.
- Installation of this newer version replaces an older version but does not delete previous runs.
