The National Agricultural Library (NAL) facilitates the creation of agricultural knowledge through the acquisition, curation, and dissemination of the information needed to solve agricultural challenges today and in the future.

Part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service, NAL is one of five national libraries of the United States and houses one of the world's largest collections devoted to agriculture and its related sciences. From its headquarters in Beltsville, Maryland, near Washington, D.C., NAL serves our customers by providing access to our physical collection and our freely available digital resources.

NAL delivers effective products and services to meet the evolving needs of our immediate customers and the larger agricultural research community.
