Quantitative trait loci for osmotic adjustment, partial resistance to leaf rust, and crossability with wheat were located on chromosome 7H. In addition, resistance gene analogs, a prolamine-box binding factor gene, a phytic acid mutant, and a gene for carotenoid pigment were mapped to this chromosome. Synteny between a portion of 7H and rice chromosomes was examined. AFLP markers also were placed on the chromosome 7H map. |
