Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: The Leptospira interrogans genome consists of two circular chromosomal replicons. The larger replicon has several large rearrangements. The impact of these rearrangements on phenotypes is not well understood. There are several different repetitive DNA species in L. interrogans and these likely have a role in generating rearrangements and may alter phenotypes.
