Interpretive Summary: The 1994-95 Uniform Winter Oat Yield Nursery was grown at 19 stations in 12 states. Of the 19 total entries, eight were new entries in this year's nursery. The choice of experimental design used to grow the test was made by the cooperator at each location and mean performance values were submitted for inclusion in this report. The average yield over lines and stations was 70.4 bu/A with line averages ranging from 54.9 to 88.8 bu/A. F1920HR31314 was the top yielding experimental line, with two other lines yielding at levels not statistically different from this line, when averaged over all locations. The highest yielding location was Kinston, NC, where the average of all entries was 203.9 bu/A. The best entry test weight when averaged over all locations was the check Florida 501 at 32.5 lb/bu. Eight other lines had average test weights that were not statistically different from this line.

The highest yielding location was Kinston, NC, where the average of all entries was 203.9 bu/A. The best entry for test weight when averaged over all locatioms was the check Florida 501 at 32.5 lb/bu. Eight other lines had average test weights that were not statistically different from this line.
