Complete closed genome sequences of four Mannheimia varigena isolates from cattle with shipping fever. Genome Announcements. 2(1):e00088-14.

Interpretive Summary: Mannheimia varigena is an occasional respiratory pathogen of cattle and pigs. Advanced DNA sequencing and computer algorithms were used to reveal, for the first time, the entire unbroken genetic code of the livestock pathogen Mannhemimia varigena. Having complete DNA sequence should contribute to a better understanding of respiratory disease in livestock.

Technical Abstract: Mannheimia varigena is an occasional respiratory pathogen of cattle and pigs. We present the first four complete closed genome sequences of this species.
