Interpretive Summary: During a 20-year survey horse flies were routinely collected in the Sinai resulting in a checklist of 22 species. There were 2 new species recorded for the Levant, 4 for Egypt, 5 for the Sinai, and one doubtful record for the Sinai was confirmed. Furthermore we 10 more species that were previously known or could be presumed from the Sinai were also collected. The status of 4 species doubtfully recorded from the Sinai is discussed. Apart from zoogeographical notes, host and ecological observations are also given.
