Technical Abstract: An ambrosia beetle, Xyleborus glabratus, is a threat to trees in the family Lauraceae. Studies were conducted to determine chemical profiles from host trees of this beetle as part of research on potential semiochemicals that could be used for detecting and monitoring this new pest.
