Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: A FK-506 binding protein, a member of the immunophilin superfamily of Edwardsiella ictaluri was partially identified by the in-vivo-induced antigen technology. We further cloned and sequenced this FK-506 binding protein gene using a Universal GenomeWalker kit. The complete sequence consisted of 612 nuceotides. Analysis of the sequence reveals one open reading frame, which potentially encoded a 203-amino-acid peptide with a calculated molecular mass of 21.8 kDa.
