Interpretive Summary: This paper reviews a recent book on the topic entitled APlant Growth and Climate Change@ edited by James I.L. Morison and Michael D. Morecroft. The authors discuss effects of elevated CO2 and temperature on plant growth and development and on plant water relations. The book gives a generally good overview of the probable effects of changing climate variables on plant growth that should appeal to scientists and graduate students beginning to work in this area. Such research should help everyone on Earth as we try to predict the likely effects of global change on agriculture and other ecosystems and try to develop optimum strategies for future management.
