Technical Abstract:
Dietary surveys are used for multiple purposes. They range from measurement of food disappearance at the national level, to food use at the household level, to detailed multiple assessments of individual intake for linkage with health outcomes. Each of these methods has strengths and limitations, depending on the survey purpose.
