Technical Abstract: Researchers conduct much of their work in cooperation with beekeepers. This article recognizes one such individual who was key in coordinating between the Weslaco Honey Bee Group and beekeepers. Data obtained from this collaboration resulted in information valuable to the scientific community as well as the beekeeping industry.
