Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: Answering consumer questions is an important aspect of egg marketing. Consumers expect those they contact to be able to address their situation and help find answers. Topics of general consumer concerns include: proper storage, safe handling, food safety, and food quality. With the vast array of liquid, dried, and shell egg products available in the market, consumers often need assistance in differentiating between options. Keeping informed of public policy issues, food safety reports, and consumer demands can aid an individual in dealing with consumer questions. Presenting material in an informed, authoritative manner will also help the consumer to feel more at ease with today's egg products.
