Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: Interactions among piscivorous animals, such as double crested cormorants (Phalacrocorax auritus) and largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides), and economically important fish species are unclear. Collections of these two predators were taken seasonally with an additional collection of largemouth bass taken in the summer months. The diet of these predators was examined. Bioenergetic models will be used to determine which of these factors has a greater impact on the mortality of sport fish in Lake Chicot.
