Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: The principal types of formulating mycoherbicides (fungal weed pathogens) were reviewed. Liquid or sprayable formulations were subdivided under the headings of water, surfactants, emulsions, bioherbicide/chemical combinations, bacteria, and miscellaneous. Granular formulations were subdivided under the topics of seed, alginate, wheat flour, and miscellaneous. The relationship between formulation, production (fermentation) of the mycoherbicide and application was emphasized since the result of such colloboration is a commercial product. How formulaton affects storage stability and efficacy was also noted as in those manuscripts which addressed those issues.
