Technical Abstract: Neosporosis is a protozoan disease of livestock and companion animals. The parasite, Neospora caninum, can cause abortion and neonatal mortality in cattle, horses, sheep, and goats, and paralysis in dogs. This paper reviews current information on bovine neosporosis.
