Interpretive Summary: Many insects feed on small grains in Oklahoma, and some cause economic damage. The important pests of small grains in Oklahoma are described, and methods for managing these pests are detailed. Current insecticidal control recommendations are given, along with details on mixing and applying registered insecticides. The timing of activity of insect pests of small grains are presented. This bulletin will be useful to growers and crop consultants as well as professional entomologists.
