Technical Abstract:
A subset of 15 doubled haploid lines from the 150 line Steptoe-Morex population previously had been selected for rapid placement of markers on the Steptoe-Morex linkage map. A description of the crossovers or breakpoints was published in 1995. Since that time, additional markers have been placed on the linkage map. Ten of these identify additional crossover points in the 15 line subset. This increased the number of unique segments identified by these lines to 134. An updated crossover table is included.
