Technical Abstract: The Soybean Monograph was published in 1987 and included 21 chapters with one chapter on Qualitative Genetics and Cytogenetics. Since 1987 only one summary on soybean qualitative genetics has been published and this was in Yugoslavia. Our objective was to summarize existing information since the Soybean Monograph on qualitative genetics. The tables are arranged by physiological or biochemical traits and give information on the gene, phenotype, and reference. These data illustrate that since 1986, much emphasis in soybean genetics has been on disease resistance, seed components, and isozymes and proteins. The information would be useful to breeders, genetics, pathologists, physiologists, molecular biologists, and others with an interest in soybean qualitative traits.
