This paper describes one new species and discusses the taxonomy of nine other species of plants known from South America. Keys and illustrations are provided. This information will be used for the identification of these plants. Technical Abstract: In Neotropical Rubiaceae, nine species for Brazil, one new species for Guyana, and one new generic section are described. Six new combinations and one new status are proposed, and the author citation of Psychotria racemosa is corrected. Augusta is expanded to include Lindenia with nomenclatural adjustments. |
