Interpretive Summary: This chapter provides an overview of what grazing systems are and the general methods used in grazing management. The concept of intensive grazing management is presented as are examples of how intensive grazing can be utilized. The approach to building forage-livestock systems is addressed with various approaches on how to integrate different forage species of temperate and subtropical origin. This chapter integrates forage production and utilization to generate maximum yearly grazing.
