Technical Abstract:
In this article the Brucellosis Eradication Program for cattle is reviewed including total cost and current status. An overview of the current knowledge regarding brucellosis in bison and the infection of the Yellowstone National Park bison are also included. The current status of research studies and collaborative efforts of the personnel of the Brucellosis Research Unit in regard to bison brucellosis are reviewed.
