Interpretive Summary: Host resistance and avoidance can limit losses due to white mold (WM)disease in dry beans. Previous studies to understand the genetic mechanisms underlying WM resistance used bi-parental mapping populations and an assortment of markers to identify QTL for WM. Our objective was to use a genome-wide association approach based on a 6K SNP array to examine marker-trait associations.
