Technical Abstract: In a series of experiments cyanuric chloride and hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene derivatives were synthesized and characterized using spectroscopic, thermogravimetric, limiting oxygen index, and vertical flame analyses. Standardized test results have determined these compounds are promising flame retardants in cotton textile applications.
