Technical Abstract:
Ovitraps at 1 and 6 meters containing water, oak or oak-pine were evaluated to ascertain mosquito oviposition heights. We collected 13,276 eggs representing five species; the most common being Aedes albopictus, Ochlerotatus triseriatus and Orthopodomyia signifera. For certain species, more eggs were oviposited in ovitraps containing infusions compared to water
