Technical Abstract: This book chapter discusses the postharvest arthropod pests of durum wheat and their control. The main internally feeding pests are Rhyzopertha dominica, Sitophilus granarius, S. oryzae, and S. zeamais. The main externally feeding pests are Cryptolestes ferrugineus, Oryzaephilus surinamensis, O. mercator, Plodia interpunctella, Tribolium castaneum, T. confusum, and Trogoderma granarium. The mite pest, Acarus siro, is also discussed. The morphology, biology and ecology, natural enemies, detection and inspection methods, and control of each species are discussed. General pest management practices for durum wheat in the marketing system are presented.
