Technical Abstract: Abstract: Effect of temperature on the biology of Paracoccus marginatus was investigated. P. marginatus was able to develop and complete its life cycle at 18°, 20°, 25° and 30°C. At 15°, 34° and 35°C eggs hatched, but further development was arrested. Approximately 80 -90% of the eggs survived between 20° - 30°C. Highest fecundity was at 25°C. Thermal constants and minimum and maximum temperature thresholds were estimated for egg, male and female nymphal stages and adults.
