Technical Abstract: The Indian River Citrus league, an industry group representing citrus growers in the Indian River District of Florida, requested an update on the USDA,ARS,USHRL scion improvement program. This report describes seven scion selections that have shown potential in field trials. Among the selections discussed are two which originated from introduction ("Thomson" navel orange and "Tresca" sweet orange); a seedless "Pineapple" sweet orange; three mandarin hybrids (USDA 6-13-44, USDA 6-5-80; and USDA 1-105-106) and a grapefruit-like hybrid (USDA 1-77-19).
