Technical Abstract:
The USDA Agricultural Research Service has developed three grape rootstocks that are resistant to many types of nematodes. These rootstocks varied in mineral uptake, vigor and production. 10-17A and 10-23B had similar vigor and yield when grafted to Syrah compared to the other rootstocks in the trial. 6-19B had the lowest vigor and yield but the highest wine must quality.
