Technical Abstract: Precision agriculture offers the promise of improved management in all areas of production, including irrigation. How do new technologies fit in with what is currently available? This presentation will discuss some of the concepts in development, how they fit the Midsouth production systems, and what kinds of problems may arise from the adoption of new techniques.
