Technical Abstract: This review chapter on "Insect Management with Residual Insecticides" describes the different classes of insecticides used as residual treatments in milling and food processing facilities, along with specific products and methods of application. Factors that affect performance and efficacy of residual insecticides are discussed, including sanitation, surface substrate, insecticide class and formulation of insecticides, toxicity and exposure interval, environmental effects, and the target pest species.
