Citation: Kennedy, A.C., Stubbs, T.L. Soil Quality, Evaluating Your Entire Soil System. Treasure Valley Small Farm Conference Proceedings. 2003 Technical Abstract: Soil quality parameters can be assessed to define management practices that are soil building rather than degrading. Soil quality can be broken down into physical chemical and biological components. No single soil measurement should be used alone to predict whether a management practice is soil building or degrading. Soil quality can assist growers and landowners in determining the impact of management decisions.
