Interpretive Summary: no summary.

Technical Abstract: Four DNA-gyrase inhibitors (i.e., novobiocin, oxolinic acid, and nalidixic acid) were evaluated for reducing bacterial contamination in new oligidic (NI) diet for mass rearing of Lygus spp. The impact of the inhibitors on biological fitness of the insects was also examined.
