Technical Abstract: During the 12th Wildland Shrub Symposium, 12 to 16 August, 2002, in Laramie, Wyoming, field trip participants visited the High Plains Grasslands Research Station in Cheyenne. The Station is operated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, on land owned by the city of Cheyenne. The tour included a chance to visit a historic setting, tour facilities, and listen to presentations by Station scientists and cooperating investigators. Cooperators include the University of Wyoming, U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management, Wyoming State Office; and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Grazing Lands Team.
