Technical Abstract: 'Clementines' are a distinctive type of mandarin grown in the Mediterranean area, particularly Spain and Morocco. Recently there has been interest in 'Clementine' cultivation in California. This article briefly summarizes information on the major cultivars of 'Clementines' and presents fruit quality data for those cultivars presently available to California nurserymen and growers.
