Interpretive Summary: IRRIGATOR PRO is an expert system developed at the USDA, ARS, National Peanut Research Lab through a CRAD with the Peanut Foundation. The Peanut Foundation owns and markets this system as a part of FARM SUITE, a large expert system being developed to manage peanut production. IRRIGATOR PRO provides recommendations for scheduling irrigation and certain pest control lpractices. This system has been used successfully in most peanut growing regions to reduce water and pesticides 10-20% while increasing net returns by greater amounts.
