Technical Abstract: NutrimX is a new source of soluble beta-glucan ingredients for use in food and nutraceutical supplements. It can add health claim to food, extend the shelf life, improve texture, and create new products. NutrimX from oat flour is called Nutrim-5, and pilot plant quantities are available for evaluation. Besides increasing nutritional quality, Nutrim-5 can increase the health benefits of foods. Licenses for manufacture or import/export of NutrimX are available.
