Technical Abstract:
Concern over the contribution of agricultural phosphorus to accelerated eutrophication has caused phosphorus to become an environmental issue. The first article of this series introduced the environmental dimensions of agricultural phosphorus. Here, as a preface to future "What's Cropping Up?" articles on soil phosphorus, we offer a primer on phosphorus chemistry yin agricultural soils.
