Technical Abstract: Solanum section Petota includes the cultivated potato and its approximately 110 wild species relatives. This monographic treatment covers the 18 wild potato species that occur in Argentina. It includes keys to these 18 species, full synonymies with lectotypifications when necessary, descriptions, statements of habitats, distributions, and illustrations of all of the species. It is included in Volume 13 of that cover all species of the Solanaceae family for Argentina, treating 35 genera.
