Interpretive Summary: The cultivation of pecan is challenged by many environmental factors that either stress trees or harm the crop. A field-day was held to facilitate the transfer of technology and information to regional pecan farmers. New information was provided in entomology, pathology, and horticultural aspect of pecan management. This information provides farmers with an understanding of ongoing research on pecan and provides access to new technologies that potentially benefit regional orchard production systems.
